Gallery of biota

The links here lead to separate galleries o fungi, lichens, plants, invertebrates and vertebrates. All of these photos have been taken in Northern Finland, thereby describing typical kinds of species you might find in different ecosystems and habitats of boreal regions. Some photos may include representatives of all kingdoms, and they surely do, but the underlying story is centered around the main character or characters. I will update the gallery continuously as photos that tell a story have appeared. It is up to you to guess what kind of a story is behind each photo, but I certainly have mine.
